Time-based one-time-code

Like other authentication apps (e.g., Authy, Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, etc.), Timauthy is a time-based passcode manager.

Timauthy thus allows the generation of ephemeral codes for Internet services with strong authentication compliant with the RFC 6238 standard.

Security and privacy first

No need to create an account to use Timauthy. By default, the application runs offline, thus preserving your anonymity.

Even in anonymous mode, you can save your data using the Export and Import functions, which allow you to copy and paste your data into encrypted text that can be stored on any device.

Optional online synchronization

Timauthy also offers online data synchronization to facilitate data security and availability. A simple email address serves as your login and password to register and log in.

It then becomes very easy to restore your settings if you change your smartphone. No risk: Your data is end-to-end encrypted.

For the most demanding users, Timauthy also offers the option to customize the encryption key to guarantee a zero-knowledge architecture. Of course, This key must be properly backed up by the user in case of disconnection or reinstallation of the application.

Timauthy Web Companion (TWC)

Timauthy Web Companion allows you to always find your authentication codes directly from your computer's browser.

To use this service, all you need is a Timauthy online account, which you can create for free from the smartphone app.
